Larson's Musical Forces in Vivaldi's Bassoon Concerti is a corpus study of Vivaldi's bassoon concerti. It uses the humdrum toolkit to computationally analyze the solo parts and test for Larson's forces of musical gravity, musical inertia, and musical magnetism.

Continuity in Berwald's Concertpiece for Bassoon examines the role of cadenzas and fermatas in the continuity of sections of Berwald's "Concertpiece op. 2" for bassoon.

Organic Coherence in Monolog for Bassoon examines Isang Yun's "Monolog for Bassoon." This article examines three features found in the opening phrases that organically generate the remainder of the piece.
